Admitted Student Visit Registration

    In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, several precautions have been put into place to ensure the safety of you, your family, and our staff during these events. You will be emailed a complete list of these measures upon your registration. Masks continue to be required for all visitors. All decisions regarding visits will be made for the health and safety of our guests and staff.

    Admitted Student Visits are offered Monday - Friday. Students and families can attend a campus tour for admitted students. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, all tours have been modified accordingly:
    • All visitors (in addition to SMU faculty, staff, and students) are continually required to wear masks while inside of the Laura Lee Blanton Building. This is in accordance with the Dallas County ordinance.
    • Student ambassadors will take you on a one-hour guided walking tour of the campus.
    • Tour guides will be equipped with microphones to allow safe distances between tour groups.
    • Many of the buildings on the SMU campus are closed to the public (including dining halls), so most of the tour will be conducted outside.
    • Please plan to bring a water bottle with you, as our water fountains are currently out of service as a preventative measure.
    Registration is required for all visitors, including guests. If registration appears full on your preferred date it is likely because we have met capacity for that date. If we need to cancel our admitted student visits, we will notify those registered as soon as possible. Please know that we are carefully monitoring the situation around COVID-19 and all decisions will be made for the health and safety of our guests and staff.
