    1. What exactly is SMU Comes to You?

    While we encourage all families to visit campus, the SMU Comes to You Information Session provides you with one way to learn about SMU without coming to Dallas, TX. Each information session includes a presentation led by an admission counselor and a question-and-answer session. Join us to learn more about our unique campus, premier academic programs, the admissions process, and scholarship opportunities. 

    2. Will my admissions counselor be in attendance at the event in my area?

    Your admissions counselor should be in attendance. However, if for some reason your specific counselor is not at the event you attend and you are interested in establishing contact with them, you can find their contact information here.

    3. My city is not listed. Will SMU be visiting my area any time soon?

    Our admissions counselors travel to various cities and states to participate in high school visits or college fairs. SMU Comes to You is a great program for you to attend in case we missed you at your high school or local college fair. 

    4. If I cannot attend an SMU Comes to You, how can I visit campus?

    We encourage you to visit campus to get a true feeling for life as a Mustang. Check out our daily visits, Saturday visits and Mustang Day events! 

    5. May I bring my parents or friends to SMU Comes to You?

    Of course! When registering, please list how many guests you will be bringing.

    6. Do I need to wear specific attire to the program?

    No. Please come dressed comfortably and you may wish to bring a jacket or sweater as some venues may be cold.
