Transfer Campus Tours

SMU is no longer requiring masks to be worn on campus with a few exceptions, such as the Dr. Bob Smith Health Center and SMU Express and SMU Museum shuttles due to DART’s policy. If you prefer to wear a mask throughout your SMU visit, we encourage you to do so.

In-PersonTransfer Friday Visits are offered on select Fridays.

(There is a virtual information session on the Fridays that are not available for in-person campus tours.)
    • Each Visit will consist of a transfer information session led by an Admission Officer preceding a 75-minute campus tour led by a current SMU student.
    • If you still have questions after your visit, an Admission Officer will be available to meet with you.
    • Registration is required for all visitors, including guests. If registration appears full on your preferred date it is likely because we have met capacity for that date.
    • If we need to cancel our daily visits, we will notify those registered as soon as possible.

    Academic College Sessions

While you are on campus, we want to provide you with the opportunity to customize your SMU visit with your interests. Register for an Academic Information Session with the Cox School of Business, Dedman College of Humanities and Sciences, Lyle School of Engineering, Meadows School of the Arts or Simmons School of Education and Human Development (Applied Physiology and Sports Management only) to learn more about our academic offerings (program list available here)! The times of the sessions complement our afternoon Admission Information Session and campus tour.

    SMU Barnes & Noble® Bookstore
