    The Lyle Spotlight is an annual fall on-campus event for juniors and seniors in high school strongly considering majoring in engineering or computer science in college. This program includes sessions and tours specifically highlighting the disciplines and opportunities available in the Lyle School of Engineering at SMU in Dallas, TX.  You will have the opportunity to meet Lyle students and faculty; take a closer look at your intended major; tour Lyle’s state-of-the-art facilities and the SMU campus; learn facts and figures about admission into SMU; and get a sense of what student life is really like as an engineering student at SMU.
    The 2014 Lyle Spotlight will feature:

    Dr. Andrew Quicksall, Professor of Environmental Science
    Dr. Brett Story, Professor of Civil Engineering

    9:30 a.m. Admission Information Session (optional)
    10:00 – 11:30 a.m. Campus Tour (optional)
    11:45 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. Lunch in on-campus dining hall (optional)
    1:00 – 4:30 p.m. Lyle School of Engineering Spotlight Program
