Daily Visit Registration

SMU is moving to a mask-optional status effective Monday, October 11. To view information on SMU's COVID-19 policies, please visit smu.edu/coronavirus.

Daily Visit (Monday-Friday): Daily Visits are offered at 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Monday-Friday. Each visit consists of an information session let by an Admission Officer preceding a 75 minute campus tour led by a current SMU student. If you still have questions after your visit, an Admission Officer will be available to meet with you.

While you are on campus, we want to provide you with the opportunity to customize your SMU visit with your interests. We encourage you to register for an Academic Information Session with the Cox School of Business, Dedman College of Humanities and Sciences, Lyle School of Engineering, Meadows School of the Arts or Simmons School of Education and Human Development to learn more about our academic offerings (program list available here)! The times of the sessions complement our morning and afternoon Admission Information Session and campus tour.

Weekend Visits: Weekend Visits - offered on select Saturdays throughout the fall and spring - give you the opportunity to learn more about the admission process, the academic and residential experience at SMU and the benefits of being a Mustang! Weekend Visits include a 30-minute information session, immediately followed by a one-hour campus tour. Academic Information Sessions are not available during Weekend Visits.

An admission counselor and student ambassadors will be on hand to answer your questions and give you insight into life on the Hilltop.

Transfer Students: The Visit experience is perfect for those considering transferring to SMU, however, please be aware that the information session is geared toward First-Year students to give a general perspective on the University, and may not answer your transfer-specific questions. Your Admission Counselor will be happy to meet with you during the week (Monday - Friday) to answer any in-depth questions you might have. For Transfer-specific programs, please click here.

If you require accommodations for a physical disability or will require physical assistance during a walking tour of the campus, or if you have any other special requests or needs, please contact us directly at 214-768-0496.
